UNRISD is collaborating with Lancaster University (Institute of Advanced Studies and Department of Politics and International Relations) and other UK universities on a series of thematic seminars whose main aim is to provide a context for presenting and promoting interdisciplinary analyses of ‘competitiveness’ as a body of knowledge and related policy.

The seminars will be hosted by different partner universities: Lancaster University (Institute of Advanced Studies and Department of Politics and International Relations), Northumbria University (School of Arts and Social Sciences), Manchester University (School of Environment and Development), Bristol University (Graduate School of Education), and Newcastle University (School of Architecture, Planning and Landscapes).
