This workshop is a follow-up to the first project workshop that was held in Beijing in June 2011, both of which have been organised in order to promote research exchange and collaboration among Chinese and international scholars on the issue of migration and health in China.
This second workshop will engage over 70 international and Chinese scholars from diverse academic backgrounds from over 30 research institutes, international organizations and Chinese government agencies, to collaborate on research papers covering a wide range of migration and health issues. This will provide a forum for input into, and discussion of, the final revision of the papers that are due to be published in 2013. These papers will be released in bilingual project volumes and a selection are to be submitted for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
