Vulnerability and Coping Strategies in Cambodia: Food Security
- Project from: 1995 to 1997
The project assessed the extent to which rural households in Cambodia access sufficient quantities of food, the stability of food consumption across seasons, and the coping strategies adopted by different social groups. It also examined institutional responses to food security issues and aimed to strengthen research capacity within CDRI by training Cambodian researchers in quantitative and qualitative research methods and analysis.
The study was carried out by the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI). Some researchers involved in the study were seconded from institutions such as the Ministry of Women's Affairs and the Preak Leap Agricultural College.
